Background

Kava Ignition Program provides rewards to onboard best in class protocols onto Kava in order further network adoption, security, and decentralization. The goal of this community initiated program is to onboard proven and/or highly promising protocols that can bring their security, community, know how, and adoption to the Kava network. This proposal outlines Kinetix’s participation in the Kava Ignition program and incentives to be distributed, as part of and in addition to Kava Rise.

Why Kinetix?

The first decentralized Perpetuals platform on the Kava Chain, as well as a Uniswap v3 spot DEX featuring concentrated liquidity. Backed by a team of core contributors to projects such as Quikswap and GMX, Kinetix is building a Kava-native DeFi Hub with KFI.

Given the track record of the Kinetix team and adoption of both GMX and Quickswap, Kinetix shows promise in furthering Kava Ignition protocol goals. The Kinetix team brings a great amount of industry experience to share with the Kava community, while the protocol brings some very exciting functionality.

Proposal

After launching a Kinetix Perpetual and Kinetix v3 DEX on the Kava Chain, Kinetix will receive a minimum of 125k KAVA per month through Kava Rise for the following 12 months. Kinetix makes a commitment to onboarding an ecosystem of projects to build on top of the Kinetix platform on Kava.
